Standing at just under 5'4" Michi is a short Au Ra woman of dark hair and countenance. Her expression is often in contrast to her appearance. These days garbed in outfits of vibrant, deep reds, she stands proud. Her voice rarely rises much higher than a whisper.Not cold in personality, but just a bit quiet, the woman tends to find enjoyment in simple things. The smell of fresh bread, the feeling of wind on her face, the warmth of the sun after a cold winter's day... Little moments that make the soul grow rich and heavy with the world around her.Around others, and especially modern topics of science, the woman can seem a bit behind. She does her best to keep up in any conversation, but most modern theories leave her scratching her head.

Thanks for peeking in at my carrd. I hope your interest is piqued! I am a 21+ rper and only really rp with people in the same demographic. I'm not new to roleplaying on FF anymore and love dming big stories for my friends. That being said, I love meeting new people, and am always on the hunt for more rp partners to grow my circle of friends!Michi is a character spawned from a rabbit hole of lore across several FF games, not just FFXIV. However, all components involved are directly canon to XIV, thanks to Square's lovely inclusion of other game tie-ins for their lore. We bend, but don't break the lore here, no worries.I only put a few restrictions on the kind of rp I do. I think anything should be fair game IF you can approach it in a mature way. Heavier or more serious topics such as Graphic Violence, Romance, or Inter-Character Drama (of whatever severe variety you might imagine) are things I reserve only for people whom I've had prior discussions with about said topics. Everyone wants to enjoy a spicy story, sure, but everyone needs to be comfortable while enjoying it. Thank you for taking the time to read through! I hope we can roleplay soon!

  • In Need of Aid - Michi loves to help those in need. Whether it be medical care, charity work, or even just help with directions, these are all great conversation starters.

  • Curious Origins - While Au'ra are a common sight in across the land these days Michi follows very few of their cultural conventions - even just from the way she carries herself. Surely there's more to it than simple defiance of the norm.

  • Language Barrier - Often times, the stranger in a strange land struggles with the written word. Michi can be seen frequently around cities, fighting to comprehend the swirling Eorzean script that so many are fond of.

  • Ancient History - Michi can often be overhead talking about the history of mythological, far eastern civilizations. Drawing connections between the events of the past and current record. She also tends to bring up glaring inaccuracies as if they were fact. Perhaps some scholars take offense?

  • Garlean Experiments - The many whims and projects of the Garlean empire meant collaboration and involvement of huge amounts of foreigners. Before the collapse of the empire, this same woman could be seen being transported here and there - though looking quite out of sorts, to the point of total disassociation. The sight of such a face could be familiar - for reasons good and bad.

  • Religion Denied - A time ago, Michi used to wander the cities in the vestments of the clergy. These days, these are few and far between. But, still, their mark on her actions is ever-present. Faith may recognize faith wherever it walks, and those of a religious inclination can pick her out easily.

  • History Rhymes, Not Repeats - Those who are incredibly well informed (spies, information salesmen, scholars of Sharlayan, and so on,) may know that for a time, Michi was investigating Auracite. The magical containment units of aether. When discussesd, she is hesitant to share details, but simply says that it has to do with the ancient island of Marijil. A place perhaps a rare few know of, given it's ancient history.

  • Lionsguard Forgotten - The name of an ancient order of Holy Knights very rarely leaves the woman's lips. But informed scholars of ancient history know that during the famed 'War of the Lions' the failure of the Lionsguard to protect their royal family was the source of incredible turmoil. A strange thing to mention, considering how far in the past it occurred.

  • Ancient Heroes Named - The pseudonym Lugria is one rarely, if ever, referenced in historic texts. It is tangentially related to the vaunted kingdom of Ivalice, though records have largely been destroyed. Still, Michi uses it as liberally as if it belonged to someone she personally knew. Scholars of conflicts new and old could have questions about the meaning of the name to her.
